At Sweet Locust Counseling, we help individuals, couples, and families improve their emotional well-being through evidence-based counseling. Our goal is to support you in navigating challenges and achieving personal growth in a safe and supportive environment.

Scott Campbell

LPCC-S, MS Ed., Owner

Scott Campbell is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and the owner of Sweet Locust Counseling, LLC. With a deep commitment to supporting individuals, couples, and families, Scott offers a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy, specializing in individual counseling for teens and adults, as well as marital and family counseling.

Scott has received extensive training in alternate dispute resolution, including Basic Mediation through the Cleveland Mediation Center, Specialized Family and Divorce Mediation, Parenting Coordination, and Advanced Parenting Coordination, all through the Ohio Supreme Court. Additionally, Scott has training in Mediating High Conflict Disputes, and Forensic Family Training further enhancing his ability to mediate complex family dynamics. Scott also completed the Ohio Supreme Court’s Custody Evaluator Pre-Appointment Education and is eligible for court appointment in custody cases.

Through his advanced skills in mediation and counseling, Scott helps families and individuals work through difficult disputes with a focus on communication, understanding, and finding peaceful solutions. Whether working with clients to improve their emotional well-being, resolve marital issues, or mediate family conflicts, Scott takes a thoughtful, client-centered approach to help foster lasting positive change.

Outside of his practice, Scott is a dedicated advocate for families and individuals impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders, serving on the Board of Directors for Roads to Recovery, a nonprofit organization focused on meeting the needs of this community.

Scott’s background also includes serving in the United States Coast Guard from 1998 to 2002, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. With a holistic approach to counseling and conflict resolution, Scott is committed to helping his clients navigate challenges and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Alycea Lemmon

LSW, MSW

With a strong belief in the power of healthy, supportive relationships, Alycea is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and enhance their emotional well-being.

Alycea holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wright State University. For the past several years, Alycea has worked at the Greene County Visitation Center with families requiring supervised parenting time between a parent and a child, often with the goal of transitioning to a less structured environment. Her passion lies in guiding parents and families toward improved communication, understanding, and connection.

Alycea is currently developing her skills in Parent Coaching through the Center for Coach Development. Parent Coaching empowers parents to recognize their innate ability to create sustainable positive change, improving co-parenting even in the midst of relationship turmoil.

Alycea tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Her goal is to foster growth, understanding, and lasting change, with a particular focus on helping families thrive through better interactions and deeper connections.

Justine Steele

LSW, MSW

Justine is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker with extensive experience working with teens, adults, couples, and families. Justine also works with families involved in the court process experiencing parent contact problems and other complex situations.

Justine holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Texas El Paso. While working toward her Master’s Degree, Justine worked for a local court system, acting as a custody evaluator.

Whether guiding teens through the complexities of adolescence, supporting adults in navigating life transitions, or helping couples and families strengthen communication and understanding, Justine works collaboratively to develop personalized strategies for growth.

Justine is dedicated to helping every client feel heard, valued, and supported on their journey toward emotional and relational wellness.
